WHAT IS A GK1 CHURCH?

The name of our Church, “GK1 – God’s Kingdom First Church”, derives from the command and teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ:

 

“Seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”  ~ Matthew 6:33

 

A GK1 Church is basically a local congregation consisting of a ministry team who aspire to follow God’s revealed will in all areas of their lives, and to produce congregants to do the same.

 

In other words, a local church consisting of born-again believers who aspire to follow God’s revealed will, as led and enabled by the indwelling Spirit of Christ and based on God’s life-enriching Kingdom principles.

 

This, then, highlights the main reason why we believe our two most important ministry mottos are, and must always be:

 

“No decision without God’s permission”

 

“God’s will, our first priority”
